# CLAMOUR-SERVER

#### This project is a complemetary project to the CLAMOUR (Collaborative Localization Adapted from Modular Onboard UWB Ranger) project.

While the objective of CLAMOUR is to create a self-lacalizing audioguides for the Chambord Casle Museum's exposition (https://www.chambord.org/en/discovering/the-castle-visit/),
this project is a complementatry server that will be used to automate the process of retrieving data from the localization system during the deployment of the technology in 2019-2020.

One objective of this server is to offer an intuitive plateform for managing the audioguides used to deploy the CLAMOUR system.
Another objective of this project is to automate the retrival of the data once the audio-guides reach the area covered by the network of a local router.
Lastly, the objective of this project is to offer an interactive dashboard to better understand the data acquired and guide the interpretation that can be made from those data.

This project is realized in collaboration by the following laboratories: MIST - Polytechnique, NXI Gestatio - UQAM, INIT Robots - ETS.

## Code Organization

This repository contains two sets of codes that are meant to be deployed differently.

### 1. Code to install on the central server :
#### 1.1 central-server folder

This folder contains the implementation of the central server in charge of retreiving the data from the audio-guides and offering the client services to manage the audioguides
through a web page accessible through a local connection.

### 1.2 Code to install on the tags :
#### 2. tag_api

This folder contains code that is meant to be installed in the audio-guides (tags) that will be used. As the audioguides will behave as slaves of the central computer when
they will be connected to the network, this folder mainly contains some scripts that will facilitate the interactions of the audioguides with the central server.

## Development

### Running the server for development :

In order to run the server in a development environement (not for final deployment), run the following command :
DEBUG=clamour-server:* npm run devstart

docker-compose config
docker-compose up -d
