Former maintainer here, giving my two cents, I love this, would ask here about licence? It might be just attribution and link to source.

Seems like the author typically sells these, so I'm guessing we can't use them in Carpentries lessons?

Thanks! I see that you encourage people to print their own, but I don't see an explicit license. Of course you don't have to put one up, asking for permission works too (thanks for granting it!)
