Maximum number of labels in Image labeling web app

Image labeling webapp seems to support up to 20 labels, but not more. When I try to more than 20 labels, the screen goes blank. Is this a bug or by design? I would prefer to be able to at least 30-50 different labels.
It would also be nice, if the relative size of the two panes could be adjusted (the image pane and the labels pane)
