Fix high-DPI usability issues

Would be wonderful if high-DPI screens would give the same output as low-DPI screens. If you drag a windows from a high-DPI screen to a low-DPI screen the thickness of lines changes dramatically. Also, on some screens, things get tiny. I do not see this on MacOS, but get reports from Windows.

Plots break when you move a window from a high-DPI screen to a low-DPI screen. Axes get disconnected resulting in erroneous displays.
