Rendering markdown includes in Jekyll

Is there anyway to achieve Markdown in _includes files our outside _posts folder with rDiscount by default. Like what is mentioned in this post.

There isn't a way to use Markdown by default outside of _posts.

As the article mentions, you can use the capture block with the markdownify filter to use Markdown on a case-by-case basis for arbitrary text, including text that is included.
