Having Issues Building for Arch

Trying to build for my Steamdeck which is based on arch.
ninja complains that ninja.build doesn't exist
tried doing a huge number of different ways of installing with no luck
tried 0.8 and dev versions
make complains about missing headers in the lua files

Could you paste in the exact build log from a clean checkout?

I dont really know what I exactly did but I believe reinstalling util-linux-libs and ncurses fixed it. I guess valve mustve cut the headers out of SteamOS.
