I'm not sure what exactly your goals are for this enhancement, but I was experimenting in a fork with getting the presets to slide left/right on a mobile view. It seems like they can slide to the right but not to the left. This leaves some initial blocks not visible on mobile devices.
Would you be open to using a non-flex layout for the mobile view, it achieves your goals for mobile view enhancements?
