Monitor last detected motion

I have an automation that needs to know when a PIR was last active, I have achieved the opposite result for inactivity with the for duration but it does not seem to work the opposite way round. If I want to set a condition that only fires if motion was detected within the last 30 minutes, is there any way of achieving this?

I realise this isn't specifically an issue but this seems like the most logical place to discuss.
