Can't install it on ubuntu

I tried to install your code like this:

sudo npm install R2 -g

But, I've got this error:

sudo: npm: command not found

Can you please tell me how to install npm command ?

you have to install node & npm first as dependencies. i don't know the first bit about that, but surely there's some resources online
