Crashes on SteamOS 3.6.9

When you follow the instructions to install the extension in desktop mode, the OS appears to crash and restarts the steam deck on SteamOS 3.6.9.
It seems like the packages for libcec has been updated (libcec-6.0.2-4-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst). Fixing that fixes the 404 error we are seeing with curl, but even after fixing it the system seems to crash and restart.
Will continue to investigate.

sudo systemctl restart systemd-sysext ensure-sysext
Seems to be the command that causes the system to crash/restart.
