Receiving Image Files

by far the best tasker mqtt plugin available. I was trying to dig through the code, but I don't really understand it enough to know. Will this properly receive an image (jpg binary) file via an mqtt message and give it to tasker as %varmessage?

And if yes, do you happen to know if tasker properly keeps it as a binary instead of converting it to string when it is in that variable?

I tried taking the varmessage mqtt message and loading it into the Image Load task, followed by Image Save task, but it fails with an error something like "exe/doLoadImage: Unhandled Scheme: garbage binary text data from beginning of varmessage"
