Connection to DeltaChat folder cannot be established after sleep mode

  • Operating System (Linux/Mac/Windows/iOS/Android):
    Android 11.

  • Delta Chat Version:
    1.23 (nightly, built 2021-10-01).

  • Expected behavior:
    When the device (smartphone) returns from sleep mode, Delta Chat shall connect to INBOX, DeltaChat, and Sent again when those folders are to be watched.

  • Actual behavior:
    The device cannot connect to DeltaChat. (The app had to be closed and launched again manually.)

  • Steps to reproduce the problem:
    -- Let your Android device return from sleep mode. (Delta Chat must be started before, and running.) (Result: General connectivity info displayed in the top bar stays at "Connecting...".)

    Unfortunately this issue is not easy to reproduce.

lots of things have changed since then, also wondering if that may be related to imap-connection limitations. if this is still an issue, please re-open with more details.

@r10s Thanks for monitoring, I had that issue a few days ago again, but with the Sent folder. Unfortunately I could not catch a log, so as soon as it happens again, I will follow up and post an appropriate log here, of course. Thanks! 👍
