Small sample file don't show loading screen long enough

Because small sample files load very quickly, the "Loading..." message is not shown long enough for the user to actually see the message.

Not sure what the best way is to solve this, we could perhaps have a minimum display time of 2 seconds, so that if the sample import takes less time than that, there is a delay inserted until the message is removed from the screen?
