Allow triggering instrument playback via midi

the idea is to be able to trigger the instruments with external midi eg. a keyboard a drumpad a sequencer etc. A simple (in theory) option would be to have a midi in channel option in the instrument screen so that the instrument will respond to midi events on that channel, even just note on/off.
that's the minimum functionality for this purpose, some other ideas with midi implementation:
-a great addition would be to be able to control instruments parameters with cc
-another great addition would be to have an option to play the instruments chromatically or by root note, so it can be used as a drum machine eg. abletone live drum rack on just 1 midi channel (for example the first 8 instruments from c2 to f#2, instruments 9-16 c3 to f#3, so you can change kit with octave switch ). this later options implies some complication, for now just being able to trigger the instruments would be great
