The goal of this assignment was to take starter code with a fully functioning Google Books API search engine built with a RESTful API, and refactor it to be a GraphQL API built with Apollo Server. The app was built using the MERN stack with a React front end, MongoDB database, and Node.js/Express.js server and API.
How to install the project:
- Navigate to the project root folder and run
npm run install. - The back end connection is linked to the server with
npm start - You will need your own hosting platform on mongo atlas for the database and heroku for app hosting
