Unable to connect (facebook)

Recently started receiving a connection failure, message shows:
Failed to read thrift: api.c:1897 fb_api_cb_publish_pl: assertion fb_thrift_read_stop(thft) failed.
Any thoughts?

Is this fixed and a .dll (for windows) available? I'm getting the same despite using the recent plugin.

I got this error earlier this week on Windows and I noticed the travis build is currently failing as of 2 months ago https://travis-ci.org/github/dequis/purple-facebook
Is there a workaround? I've tried updating to the latest dll but it didn't help
