Looks abandoned - what alternatives are there?

If it is abandoned, it'd be nice if @dergachev or anyone else with access archived this repo.
For anyone else who used to use screengif (for years in my case), I am now using a combination of macOS QuickTime + https://gifox.io/ - though I'd be interested in other alternatives too.
Hey @pzrq thanks for jumping in here. I can confirm I've abandoned this repo, since I haven't used it for a years now that the dev agency I run has gotten bigger and I now find myself in a much less technical role. That said, I'd be happy to give you or someone else commit rights if you are willing to maintain it, as you see it's not a huge volume of PRs or issues.
In addition to Gifox, I've heard people talking about CleanShot X. I'm also curious to see what other options are there, and how they handle performance/size tradeoff.
@dergachev Thanks for the speedy reply - I'm unlikely to be able to make time to maintain it though it's probably worthwhile seeing if anyone else comes along and would prefer to maintain it instead of using an alternative 👍
https://gif.ski comes recommended! 😄 It's free and open-source, and it seems to produce reasonably small files.
