I want to comment on this one.
They gave them many human rights. It is regrettable that GTMO had a brief period of unauthorized detainee abuse, but those people were legally punished for it since then, however - conditions match, and in many cases exceed standards of typical prisons. Not to mention, conditions in confinement in GITMO are in conformity with Common Article 3 of The Geneva Conventions, Read here: https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/2918343-Review-of-Department-Compliance-With-Presidents.html

You might have seen the other issues I had with this doc, I concede that the USA has done some unethical and haunting stuff. For a long time, I took at face value that the CIA did smuggle cocaine into the USA, and that the US-supported Pinochet and overthrew a democratically elected leader in Iran, etc. But when I bothered to go through many docs, I found out that this was not the case and that many false narratives went mainstream. I have no problem with this document and I find it very informative and interesting. However, I do have a problem with fake news. Cheers.
