Login Error: MySQL

So, I have set up the server on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) and the issue now im presented with when, we go to log in to the server, it returns this error server-side. I've tried reinstalling and rebuilding all again, even tried a fresh machine.

The client was customized to switch to SHA256 but the release links on here haven't been updated yet as far as i know. Might be the issue.
Yes, this fixed the issue, however, I'm unable to select a server after it logged in.
I see a server but I can't click it.
The OK button shows that I'm pressing it but doesn't do anything.
Know how to fix this?
Sounds like a client bug but I would need more info. Can you confirm that you're click on the "channel" and not the "server"? There should be a server name in the left box and then a channel name in the right box.
If there is a channel in the right box and you can't click the channel and press OK then this is a client bug and a screenshot or short gif would be useful.
If there is no channel in the right box and you are clicking the server in the left box then the issue is in the networking setup of your server. It would mean the login server and character server/node server are not communicating.

Have a general error this time.
I have a similar issue, however when I try the sha256 client i no longer get a mysql error on the server however it immediately ingame gives a general error and disconnect on server what am i doing wrong? SlipStream#1779

had to disable ufw, now i can login to the server and osirose server listed but cannot select
ok so i have the same issue as the other guy with the mysql error, the channel does not show on the right
i also cannot find the output of the logs

Can you post logs from the login server/char server/world server. It should print to stdout.
EDIT Are you running them all from one script? Looks like the output is overwriting eachother
ok i will run seperately
that was the issue, i have to wait a few seconds in between each startup in sequence then the Athena channel came online, thanks and sorry to bother you, I'm able to login now.
No problem, glad it's working now.
