Can't print images. Unfortunately, Terminal has stoped!

What is the problem with the printer?
Everytime I try to print an image, I get the the message: "Unfortunately, Terminal has stoped." and no printing at all!
If I use only text it prints fine. Something crashes on the POS side when trying to print bitmaps.
This is problematic because it'll be mandatory to print a QRCode with the receipt, and that's a bitmap.

How can we solve this?
