Font is weird characters, cannot navigate easily.

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Java version java version "1.8.0_351"
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_351-b10)
    Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.351-b10, mixed mode)

Steps to reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Run ns-usbloader-6.1.jar
  2. See error

Expected behavior
I would be able to launch and read things in English or at least another legible translation, but these are random characters.

Any Update on this ?

Well, try to

  1. Re-install "Segoe UI" font
  2. Check if it's still an issue in this build (more recent JavaFX version)
  3. Use another JRE/JDK version. JDK17 for example.

I don't know why it happens and not sure if I can fix that. Here are some links I found:
