Locking notes when multiple users are active [FR]

We are seeing in some situations where if multiple users are editing the same notes that we are seeing information not getting saved.
Solution:
When a user clicks into a note to be edited that the note becomes locked so that no other users can make any changes until the note is saved and released by the editing user.

I'm seeing the same situation but rather than locking it, would it be better employ a method that allows multiple users to edit notes real time like Google Doc or OneNote?
