Media Provider not found.

after installing plugin on Joomla 4.2.8 when enabled the plugin i get error "Media Provider not found" when opening media manager.
when i try to upload a image the same error . and image is not stored in the user folder
when hide username is enabled the erro media provider not found is gone..
@johanpeters the error comes from the Client Side Application that keeps the last visited adapter in the session storage. I tried to solve that in the Joomla repo with https://issues.joomla.org/tracker/joomla-cms/38934 but obviously I missed a case. The problem is not this plugin but the way one particular feature of the core media manager works. I will try to fix it in the Joomla repo
PS. What was the useraname that triggered this error?
PR #40013 landed at the Joomla repo, hopefully it will be tested and merged
joomla/joomla-cms#40013 was accepted by Joomla and hopefully this is fixed now (will be available from Joomla 4.3.2)
