Suggestion: could the doom 3 starter kit be ported to dhewm3?

I am referring to the one here made by the awesome Brendon Chung. It was made a long time ago based on the original source release.

Maybe. Since it is based on the defunct iodoom3 source code, which is licensed under the GPL, giving it the dhewm3 treatment shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish.
