Task: Read Klymak et al 2015

Closed this issue · 1 comments

Read the details in the Klymak et al paper, and form a list of similar things that can be done.

I read the paper, and there is a few list of things from the paper that can be achieved with our current data set:

  • Spice anomaly maps based on local mean. In density coordinates.
  • vertical displacement spectra/ PE
  • later displacements: Thorpe scales in the horizontal.
  • lateral decorrelations length scales.
  • Spice spectra
  • Vertical coherence/ vertical spectra
  • PDF of lateral gradients.

In additions to employ the use of data not on straight lines, we can look at variograms and fit spectra using MLE and GPs.
