import utils not working in deepnote

I tried porting over the python assignments into deepnote and when I run the import cells for Exercise 1: Linear regression, I get an issue saying ImportError: cannot import name 'SubmissionBase' from 'submission' (/root/venv/lib/python3.9/site-packages/submission.py)

I can confirm that I copied over submission.py into the workspace, refreshed, reran but it didn't work. Could someone please advise
