Grades tab appears broken

When trying to check the grades tab under submissions, no grades load. The UI displays "There is no grades" and the something went wrong popup.
The corresponding get request, (in my case, https://api.diderot.one/api/courses/99/books/398/chapters/6135/manage-submissions/get_users_scores/?page=1) returns a 500.
The problem appears to extend to some, but not all chapters.
