I would like to request the addition of a "Blur Effect" feature in Quake Terminal. This feature would allow users to apply a subtle blur effect to the terminal window, providing a more visually appealing and modern appearance while working within the terminal. Such an effect can not only be aesthetically pleasing but also reduce eye strain during prolonged usage.

Some initial (still broken) work has been done on blur-branch, any help would be much appreciated.
