Release Schedule for the Phoenix Update

Here is a proposed release schedule to provide additional transparency as we approach the next major release of Dimecoin Core (Phoenix v 2.0.0.0). You can track the remaining issues tagged under Milestones -- Phoenix Release v 2.0.0.0.
Initial intentions called for the consensus change to occur at block height 4950000. At the time of the publication of this release schedule this will be delayed. We are aiming to be live no later than block 5000000.
Look for more information to be added to this issue in the coming days.
Update 05/17/2022
With the closure of issues #31, #32, and #38, we draw closer to tagging a release. All tests have indicated that no new issues have arisen from the code changes made to clean up the issues noted above.
What to expect moving forward
There will be no new features introduced from this point forward as any additional code implementations have the chance to affect stability. As of this writing, we remain on track to go live at block 5000000 with the Phoenix update -- v 2.0.0.0. The current plan will be to tag a release approximately three weeks before the intended block height of 5000000 to give everyone a chance to update their core wallets. Any changes to this schedule will be announced here.
Once we tag a release, we will be issuing an accompanied update article which will detail information on the procedure to update existing wallets and provide an overview of all the changes and features that will be available with the release
