theTVdb not matching

I know this hasn't been worked on for a long time but I was wondering if you could help. TVDB changed a few years ago how they number children's episodes and for a long time I haven't been getting matches even though episodescanner finds the right name.
I disagree with how TVDB numbers their episodes but they won't change. The "official" site for the show "Arthur" lists Season and Episode for each 30 min program even though there are 2 episodes in the 30 minutes. TVDB began numbering each show so their numbers don't match the show's numbers.
