I'm not sure since this behavior come from the previous implementation, and it was out of the scope of my project.

I'm also not sure since I am not the developer which did that. I tested the "kue-jobs" part but it looks I did not catch it. Now I need an e2e working mail-merge.

Can you take a quick look and understand from where this incorrect behaviour is coming and if what the previous developer was really required (or it's only a bug)?
