Stuck at Apple Logo

Opened this issue · 3 comments

Hi. First of all I'd like to thank you for sharing this! My laptop is a Msi Gs75 stealth 85F ane I have followed your instructions perfectly without any issues until I got to the part where I first open Clover to Boot Install macOS Catalina (10.15.4)

The apple logo appears and then it gets stuck.

I have now rebooted and attempted to install in verbose mode so I can see the errors but I don't know what to do with them. Do you think you can assist me with resolving this?

Hi, unfortunately I'm not much an expert at this hackintosh thing and the errors you get don't ring a bell, so I would suggest 2 things:
-try again with Catalina 10.15.0 or 10.15.1 if you can find it, as I had no problem with those 2 versions, but can't guarantee the same goes with 15.2, 15.3 or 15.4.
-if it doesn't help, I would suggest asking for some help here in an appropriate topic, mentionning that you used the clover config and kexts from this git repo: https://www.tonymacx86.com/forums/catalina-laptop-support.200/

You need to enable SetupVirtualMap in the settings. Your using the same laptop as me. Youll also need the UsbInjectAll.ktext

I would advise using OpenCore instead of clover. Fixes most, of not all issues of Clover.
