Stream restarts after getting a notification

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Stream content and wait to get a notification (e-mail, text, etc.) that has
audio as part of its notification

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output should be to play the notification and stream at the same
time. If that is not possible, then buffer ahead of time so it can stop, play
the notification, then pickup where it left off, rather than having a 2-5
second content interruption.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.51 on Android, device is a Samsung S4, Model Number SCH-I545
Please provide any additional information below.
