Playlist stops after each storing, not continuing

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add stories to playlist
2. Start playing the 1st one
3. If the NPR App is in the background (using any other app) or screen is
locked it stops after each story
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should continue to next story in playlist
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iPhone 5; iOS 7.0.4; NPR App 3.7.2
Please provide any additional information below.
