Support for multiple formatting directives in command
Closed this issue · 2 comments
Describe the bug
Multiple format directives cannot be used when giving a format for the command widget.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Take the default zjstatus config.
- Edit the
command_git_branch_format
to be"#[fg=green]branch#[fg=blue] {stdout} "
- Check the format of branch (in a git repo)
Expected behavior
Only the first formatting directive is parsed, while the rest are ignored.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: NixOS with WSL2
- Zellij version: 0.40.1
- Version (I dont really know how to get the plugin version)

Hi, this is implemented now and will be released with the next version.
Edit: You could also get around this quickly with just placing the #[fg=green]branch
before your widget in format_right

Hey thanks for implementing it so quickly. I already do that workaround, but this feature was mainly so that the whole widget is hidden while the command is being run
