Erratic results when clicking on news categories

When clicking on news categories, the website sometimes switches to a different category than I was clicking on. After a couple more clicks it then usually settles and I can switch categories deterministically. The erratic pattern then usually comes back the next day or so (sorry for not being very precise, I will observe it more carefully now).
In addition (but this may be best put into another issue?) the website sometimes does not display a category I clicked on (happened most frequently with the github and reddit categories) and prompts me to clear my cookies (which usually doesn't help). I had this rarely happen already upon entering the homepage, in which case I typically couldn't use the website for several days.
I'm on OSX 10.11.6 using Chrome 70.0.3538.110 (64-bit).
(btw: great work on this website, it's my most important source for news and learning about new packages!)
