I cannot reproduce here, but I had to guess the rest of your code (just wrapped it into a function). Can you provide a full example?

I suspect that there might some mix of compiler versions including the definition of string from different versions or installations. Do you have multiple projects loaded into the solution that use different configurations?

Well, my solution has more than 15 projects, so I probably have one project pushing some info from LDC while other push from DMD
