Hello,
I was wondering if there was any ongoing work on the project? I would like to help maybe with renewing the documentation.
Hi, currently the project is not used by us internally. Our workloads in the current projects got very write-heavy and we switched to Clickhouse a while ago which is better suited for that usage scenario.
So there was no need to push the development further for quite a while now. In the meantime there was another H3-extension for Postgres created (https://github.com/bytesandbrains/h3-pg) which also includes a native postgresql type for H3 indexes based on a 64 bit int. This extension here uses only the string representations and stores those in TEXT columns.
Your help is very welcome of course, but I am afraid at the moment I see not much time for more advanced features than whats currently there.
