Hello,

When tracks are played off a DAAP share, the lyrics panel stays blank.

Is it a known bug or limitation ?

Ubuntu 13.10 with
lLyrics plugin 0.5.2-1~rb3,
rhythmbox 3.0.2-1+ppafossfreedom1saucy

I do not use any DAAP shares, so I did not know about that. I will try to set one up and do some testing.

Ok, so this was caused by the changes introduced in #38. Unfortunately there is no list with all entry types used in Rhythmbox, so it is difficult to decide when to show lyrics and when not. I now changed the code to use a blacklist, meaning the plugin always shows lyrics except for podcasts and radio streams. The old behavior was to only show lyrics for local music database entries, that's why nothing happened when playing from DAAP share.
