dokku maintenance:on not reloading nginx

dokku maintenance:on app prints message and makes changes to conf, but requires a sudo service nginx reload to take effect. I'd expect this to be handled by the first command.

Looking at https://github.com/dokku/dokku-maintenance/blob/master/commands#L10 there's reload commands for DOKKU_DISTRO being ubuntu and opensuse. I'm running debain8. Would assume this is the cause. Not sure what DOKKU_DISTRO is for me.
