From a presentation/youtube stream @SteveSandersonMS mentioned and noted on a slide support for Anthropic. Anthropic the top..2..spots for Model on Openrouter and widely popular.
Can I assume that this is in the works?
Honestly, I have not see anything in the Microsoft.Extensions.AI for Anthropic but I could be missing something 🤷♂️
The Anthropic.SDK NuGet package implements the Microsoft.Extensions.AI abstractions. For example see these test cases.
In general our goal for Microsoft.Extensions.AI is that each 3rd-party client library should implement these abstractions such as IChatClient.
I am understanding now. I also see that @stephentoub has also contributed to this Anthropic library as well

In general, my goal is to elevate dotnet as a 1st class plaform for these LLM providers. Sadly, only openai provides. The effort you and the MS team are doing here fantastic.
