Android 2.3.x bug

The DOM container size become v large..
Thought this was my code at first but I can replicate on my mobile accessing -

with the stock Android browser take a look at the download, github buttons they expand in size whilst the icon remains a nice size

Tried with Font-awesome css which works fine.

Take a look of issue #14. I think that the same reasons affects Android & IE.

yes same issue as 14 android 4.x works fine just IE and Android 2.x
Wasn't sure how to take a screenshot easily on the phone ;)

I am trying to resolve this, however I still can't pinpoint the exact cause.
If anyone has any suggestions I haven't thought of I'd be grateful
