1Password Integration

Opened this issue · 5 comments

Integration with 1Password does not work in firedragon, but it works just fine in firefox. I cannot seem to find any reason for why it does not work. Is there a possibility some security flag or setting could be interfering with this? I really want to switch over to firedragon, but not integrating with the 1Password app is a deal-breaker.

Integration does not work in librewolf either. Not sure if that'll be useful.

Can you be more specific by what you mean by integration? Have you run through this help page?

1Password has a feature where the extension can integrate with the desktop app, so that whenever the desktop app is unlocked, the browser extension is unlocked too. In firedragon, this integration does not work and prompts you to login on 1password.com when you install the extension, whereas you are automatically logged in when you install the extension on firefox. I actually have done everything that it has told me to do on that help page, but it still does not work.

It might be needed to fix native messaging, as described in the Librewolf FAQ

https://librewolf.net/docs/faq/#how-do-i-get-native-messaging-to-work=

Replace .librewolf with .firedragon

The integration still does not work. I have created both symlinks, but after reinstalling the extension, the 1password.com login website still opens.
