mod_audio_fork: Do we need to disconnect audio fork connection?

Hi,
I've some questions about mod_audio_fork module, could you help to explain.
I saw we have a disconnect action in mod_audio_fork. Do we need to send disconnect after user hangup? What will happen if we do not send disconnect?
