The question for webhook concept

Hey, firstly thanks for you making Notablog and this extension, it's really smart and beautiful. I successfully built my own blog with Notablog and Netlify. But I cannot understand how to use webhook to update my blog. The concept of webhook is confusing for beginners in programming.
In Netlify's Site Setting > Build & deploy, I see 'Build hooks'. I try to use URL from here but it doesn't work. Obviously I'm doing this wrong. I guess webhook and 'hooks' here are not the same thing😥Could you please add more explanation for the 'get webhook' step? Really grateful for this.
