Data display (especially gender & sexual orientation)

For each metric, especially sexual orientation and gender identity, we need to make recommendations for how to display the data. The goal is to be inclusive in both the questioning and data display, so that people don't get consumed by "Other" every place gender/sexual orientation/other metric is discussed.
