BPM spin box selection behaviour

When using the widget arrow keys to change the BPM value, the associated spin box gets selected for text entry. Then the space bar does not work anymore for start/stop, until either escape is pressed or some other widget is clicked.
Also, when entering a new value by keyboard and hitting enter, the spin box remains selected with the same consequence.
It would allow for easier usage if a) the spinbox does not get selected for text entry by the widget arrow keys, and b) the enter key would end text entry.
