Problem description

Hi everyone. Im trying to configure databases with xExchange and im receiving the error: xExchAutoMoutPoint Unable to find a free volume number to use when naming the volume folder

I have looked into the volumes, but i`m not able to find any reason.

Operating system the target node is running

Windows Server 2019

Exchange Server edition and version the target node is running

Windows server 2019 and Exchange 2019

PowerShell version and build the target node is running

PSVersion   5.1.17763.1971

xExchange version

1.32.0

Found the issue. Problem was, that in the Exchange Volumes folder too many EXVOL empty folders create were. Deleted the empty folders and the script went trough.
