Default Issue contains leading spaces

When creating an issue through the Create Issue button on the Instant Answer pages, the generated template contains leading spaces:
I had a go at modifying github.handlebars, where the link seems to be at, but none of my changes were showing up on local platform (even after a full restart); any ideas why that might be @jdorweiler?
