Not working for IE8 (browser mode set to either IE8 or IE7)

Opened this issue · 0 comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to examples page in IE8 (set to either IE8 or 7).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
One would expect that the examples page would function however none of the IE9
examples work for IE8. Nor do the IE8 examples work when you set the browser
mode to IE7. (http://ie7-js.googlecode.com/svn/test/index.html)

I only arrived at this because I couldn't get my local copy to work - I keep
getting invalid character issues either linking to your source
(http://ie7-js.googlecode.com/svn/version/2.1(beta4)/IE9.js) or to a local
download (same issue documented here:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10324100/invalid-argument-in-ie9-js-code-0-in
-line-6-char-28214)

Is this code base no longer working / supported? Although your examples page
doesn't get the error I seem to get by downloading or even copying the IE9.js
from the one used on the examples page, it still doesn't work.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
n/a. Windows XP
